Week 9- Bats

This week we learned about bats and all the neat stuff they do like echolocation.
Here we made bat masks after we read the book Stellaluna.

Here's what the outside of our classroom currently looks like: owls on the door, bats hanging around. We are getting into the Halloween theme.

This week we celebrated Ms. Lucy turning 12! Ms. Lucy is an intern in our class on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Spooky skeletons are hanging around outside our classroom. Last week we learned about bones.

Our guest reader this week did a great job and read us some awesome books.

Week 7- Seeds

Sorry to say, but Mrs. Ornes has somehow lost the week 7 pictures on her computer. If I find them I will post the pictures. This week we planted lima bean seeds and they are growing!!! The class is very excited to learn about the plant life cycle! We also made paper flowers and learned parts of a flower (stem, petals, leaves). The students also wrote their names with seeds! Hope you enjoy these projects at home! I promise I will do my best to not misplace pictures.
