Week 2- School Helpers (Gingerbread Hunt)

Off to the playground to EAT THOSE COOKIES. What a fun day we had and also learned about our school helpers!
Mr. Thomson said that he caught those cookies and put them in the vault for us! He said that the cookies were so tired that they would not run away from us anymore. We were so excited to get our cookies back!

Once in the office we asked our Office Assistants, Ms. Rachel and Ms. Virgina if they had seen our cookies. They said YES and that we should go search Mr. Thomsons office.

On our way to the office.
Mrs. Krall our Librarian tells us that we just missed the cookies, she thinks they were heading to the office.
Searching the gym for the run away cookies. We then decided that maybe the cookies wanted to read a good book and went to the library so away we went.
Here is our music teacher Ms.Price, she the gingerbread men came and made a mess with the music instruments then headed towards the gym. So away we went tip toeing along to the gym.
The purpose of the gingerbread hunt is to learn about our school helpers. In the story of "The Gingerbread Man" he runs away and goes past several people. We arrived to pick up our gingerbread men at the cafeteria only to hear from our cafeteria workers that the little men had jumped out of the oven and ran to join the PE class. So we asked our PE teacher Ms. Ponzoho if she had seen our cookies. She said they played with the 5th grade class during PE for a while then went off to ART. So to the ART class we went. Mrs. Petit our ART teacher, told us that those little cookies came into the class ran around then went out towards the music room. ( I was so caught up in the excitment of our hunt that i forgot to take pictures of us in the cafeteria and PE) Oops!

Thanks to many wonderful parents who helped donate dough, decorations and their time to make our gingerbread hunt successful!
